Rally for Freedom Flotilla II – Ottawa, Canada

On Sunday, July 3rd, 2011, a group of Canadian supporters of justice and peace for all gathered at the Human Rights Monument site in Ottawa to demand that the Greek government allows the Freedom Flotilla II, including the Canadian Boat to Gaza Tahrir, to go to Gaza and challenge the illegal, immoral, and inhumane Israeli blockade over Gaza.

Free, free Gaza… Free Palestine…!!!

  1. The blockade of the Greek Govt. was not a surprise, since it was on the edge of a Bankruptcy, and was supported by the Zionists on condition that they block the boat going to Gaza, in spite of the full support of the Greek Govt who recognized the rights of the Palestinians and established an Embassy there. So politics and finance has a great effect on the current political scene, but this situation will not endure for long and the Greek Govt. will return to its senses.

I do not believe this is a correct analysis. Greece receives hundreds of millions of dollars every year from Saudi Arabia and the Arab Gulf states in trade and investments, not to speak about oil. The fact is Greece was ordered by the new regime in Egypt never again to assist the Muslim Brothers in Gaza because they are plotting to take over in Cairo. Egypt is the leader of the Arab world and when it speaks, Greece has to obey. The flotillas will in the future have to sail from Syria at Latakia or from Lebanon.
